Job Description What is the opportunity? RBC GRM Wholesale Credit Management - Portfolio Insights and Risk Oversight is hiring a Data engineer. You will strive to deliver high quality data assets and support our data infrastructure. You will ensure data is accurately sourced, maintained, and analyzed to optimize processes and support business objectives. You will work with technologies such as Python, SQL, Apache Airflow, JupyterHub, Docker, Trino, CDP (Hadoop), Spark, OCP, GitHub Actions, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), ensuring data pipelines are robust, well-documented, and validated for accuracy and completeness. What will you do? Participate in the enhancement and maintenance of our data assets Assist in maintaining enterprise data solutions across platforms, including RBC鈥檚 data lake and databases. Assist in the design, deployment and automation of data pipelines Enhance and augment reporting capabilities Establish systematic data validation processes to ensure reporting and analytics accuracy Leverage AI to enhance insights generation. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field SQL and Python programming experience Experience with data management and visualization tools Critical thinking and ability to analyze and solve complex data related tasks Strong written and spoken communication skills Nice-to-have Experience in the Financial Industry Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security Experience with data modeling and database administration Experience working with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) What鈥檚 in it for you?
