Job Description WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting Identity Access Management (IAM) services within RBC. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and ServiceNow, and is able to work in a dynamic environment with many teams and stakeholders. The candidate is responsible for implementing technical design, development, and automation of IAM processes. They will apply complete software development knowledge, skills, and practices to deliver high-impact solutions on the ServiceNow platform. A strong foundation in ServiceNow development is essential, including hands-on experience developing custom applications, configuring service portals, and designing workflows. What will you do ? Design and develop custom applications and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform. Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs, JDBC, MID servers, etc. Partner with stakeholders across the department to translate business needs into technical solutions. Identify and implement automation solutions to streamline IAM processes and improve operational efficiency. Create and maintain documentation for solution design, configuration, and custom development. What Do You Need to Succeed? Must have: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of ServiceNow technical experience across the following areas: custom application development, Flow Designer, Workflow, Service Portal, custom integration (e.g., REST), Business Rule, Client Scripts, etc. Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and good knowledge of web technologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technology. Nice-to-Have : Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in Identity Access Management or related Cybersecurity field. ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, CIS).
