The Associate GenAI Platform team is responsible for building GenAI solutions to improve the associate experience, productivity, and drive the GenAI transformation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Software Engineer directly reporting to Director of Software Engineering. In this individual contributor role, your are expected to be hands-on coding 80% of your time. Also, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our products and systems. with responsibilities including leading the creation and maintenance of technical architecture, aligning it with business goals and scalability requirements, and architecting complex software systems to ensure performance, security, and scalability needs are met. Additionally, the role involves providing hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and establishing and enforcing coding standards through thorough code reviews. About Team: Our team is focused on developing a streamlined, dependable company that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience (ADE). We also provide a variety of services such as procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. From developing HR chatbots and virtual assistants to creating invoice solutions and facilitating legal changes, we help drive efficiency across Walmart globally.
