Position Summary... What you'll do... Enterprise Business Services is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, Associate Digital Experience. We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Technical Architect with deep expertise in the SAP Finance, good understanding on SAP UI technologies, RAP, utilizing HANA in memory capabilities . The role will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and future-ready SAP AP solutions that leverage cloud and emerging technologies to transform finance operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical architecture capabilities, business process knowledge in Accounts Payable , Treasury, MM and the ability to integrate AI-driven insights and mobile solutions into the SAP landscape. What you'll do: Design and implement SAP AP technical solutions in alignment with Finance transformation objectives. Own end‑to‑end technical delivery for critical ABAP components on S/4 (design → code → test → deploy → run), raising the bar on code quality, observability, and operational excellence. Architect & implement scalable solutions using modern ABAP on HANA (CDS views, AMDP, code pushdown), RAP/OData services, and Fiori/UI5 extensions; optimize performance and ensure clean core principles. Build robust integrations (BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs, APIs) with Walmart platforms and third‑party services; champion reliability, resiliency, and security controls across interfaces. Oversee integrations with third-party AP tools, banking systems, and vendor portals. Provide technical leadership for SAP AP module deployments, upgrades, and integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI, AR, EAM, TR, MDGF). Define end-to-end process flows for AP automation, invoice processing, and vendor payments with robust system performance and compliance. Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities for SAP AP workloads. Partner with infrastructure teams to manage performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization. Partner with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and finance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Explore and implement GenAI use cases within SAP AP, Treasury (e.g., invoice data extraction, anomaly detection, vendor query chatbots). Partner with business and innovation teams to introduce AI-driven automation in AP workflows. Support mobile enablement of AP processes (e.g., invoice approvals, vendor interactions) by integrating SAP with mobile platforms. Establish standards, best practices, and security guidelines for SAP AP on cloud. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Basis, DevOps, and SAP functional teams. Mentor and unblock engineers; lead design deep dives, root cause & corrective actions (RCA/RCCA), and knowledge sharing across India and US teams. Support production with a “code, deploy, run” mindset; monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve service SLIs/SL
