Job Description What is the opportunity? The Credit Specialist role is a specialized role supporting International Private Banking (Canada Asia Centres). You will be the interface between Group Risk Management and the unit's sales structure. The Credit Specialist will be responsible for supporting the private banking team in the underwriting process and structuring credit solutions within the bank's credit policies and risk appetite. In addition to obtaining credit approval you will also be responsible for managing and maintaining annual credit reviews of the portfolio. What will you do? Support Private Bankers in originating, structuring and closing credit opportunities Take a continuous improvement approach to achieving superior client experience, including proactive monitoring of client affair and taking ownership of problem resolutions Provide proactive credit advice to clients as a key member of the client relationship management team in collaboration with the Private Banker and Private Banking Associate teams Promote the business through presentations and meetings to RBC partners of our credit business and capabilities Identify potential new products to enhance our product offerings Proactively manage credit renewals What do you need to succeed? Must-have University degree or equivalent education in business, finance, or related fields Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese 3-5 years of lending experience in the financial services industry A thorough understanding of relevant financing products team player and self-motivated Good verbal and written communications skills Nice-to-have Experience in Credit Structuring/Sales in the HNW Space Knowledge of Marketable securities What's in it for you? Pay Range The expected pay range for this position is: $67,000 - $110,000. The pay range provided is for the primary work location reference
