Job Description What’s the Opportunity? Joining an industry leading media team, your role will enhance the connective fabric our media team creates to collaborate, innovate and enable the success of all paid media planning, deployment, measurement and optimization. Reporting to the Director, Media & Optimization you will have the opportunity to own an account end-to-end from plan to analysis and insight. You will be expected to learn fast, ideate and optimize integrated media planning as a foundational piece of our centralized media team anywhere paid media is deployed from RBC. You are results-driven, excel in a fast paced, highly collaborative environments, embrace change and enjoy correlating your work to growth, business results and challenging us with innovative media activations. Embodying a team first mentality, you will get the opportunity to work internally with marketing, measurement & business teams while enabling our external agency partners to deliver their best work. What will you do? Campaign Management Working across 40 LOBs and having multiple campaigns active at all times means an enjoyment for multi-tasking and intensive campaign management. Proactively manage timelines, work back schedules, budget management, brand safety and oversee media planning collaborating on strategy through to the planning, activation, optimization & insight. No week will look the same, supporting directors in all things paid media as well as translating marketing strategy into material asks will be the norm. Analytics & Optimization Numbers & data is where you’ll thrive, a desire to transform measurement into insight and action those insights is where success will come. Stay on top of the industry, working with numerous research tooling, partners and teams to pro-actively provide insight is an expectancy. (AdQuest, Mintel, MediaRadar, etc.) Collaboration Working with your director to consistently optimize workload, prioritization and deliverables will require an ability to grow acumen in project management within media & marketing teams. You’ll work with all of our media agency planners, vendor partners such as Meta, Google and more as well as numerous internal marketers to maximize campaign effectiveness Continuous Learning A strong desire to learn the media landscape and develop in the media space is essential. Own media briefs, blocking charts and media reporting in collaboration with our media agency, synthesizing insight into both educational and marketing materials What Do You Need to Succeed ? Diploma, Certification or degree in Media, Marketing or related field. Deep understanding of Microsoft suite, PowerPoint, Word, Excel as well as data reporting dashboards such as tableau & Google Analytics. Ability to integrate AI tooling for efficiency while not relying on AI for the outcome. Proven team mentality with ability to follow-thru on project deliverables.
