As a Vice President with our Credit Transaction Management team, you will work closely with our sector Corporate Banking teams in Toronto, New York, and London to facilitate the growth of our Fund Finance, EML, and NBFI portfolios, and you will manage a team that covers a portfolio of clients within the Global Corporate Banking division of RBC Capital Markets. You will also work closely with other groups within Capital Markets and the Bank to deliver a full range of credit and banking services to our clients. What will you do? You will manage and develop a team of credit professionals that are responsible for a portfolio of credit relationships within the NBFI/Fund Finance/EML sectors. You will lead and foster relationships with the following key internal stakeholders to support the growth of the RBC Capital Markets loan book and trading business: Corporate Banking (CB), Group Risk Management (GRM), Global Markets (GM), Global Loans Administration (GLA), and Global Banking Service Centre (GBSC). You will have an assigned portfolio of clients, and as a team leader, will be responsible for your team鈥檚 portfolio. Within this portfolio, you will be responsible for demonstrating that the risk and reward of credit decisions are understood and actively measured and managed for banking book business within approved risk appetite, ensuring appropriate action is taken as warranted. Your key responsibilities will include: Credit Underwriting: Supervise your team鈥檚 work on a wide variety of credit transactions and present deals in the credit adjudication process. Transaction work includes: writing transaction memos for submission to appropriate commitments committees; conducting financial analysis, including review of financial statements, borrowing bases, cash flow projections, structures, key terms, and industry trends for new credit, refinancings, renewals/extensions, covenant amendments/waivers, and other minor amendments; and coordinating with internal partners (Group Risk Management (GRM), Know Your Client (KYC), and Funding and Lending Services) to ensure timely closings. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely and maintain positive relationships with Corporate Banking (CB), Group Risk Management (GRM), Global Markets (GM), and Global Loans Administration (GLA). You will be your team鈥檚 primary point of contact and will conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure a high level of service is provided to other groups within the Bank. Data Integrity: Supervise your team in ensuring credit agreement terms are correctly reflected in the Bank鈥檚 systems and that all credit documentation is accounted for and reviewed on a timely basis (e.g., credit agreement
