Job Description What is the Opportunity? The Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives plays a key role in in conducting deep-dive investigations and root cause analysis of high-impact issues arising from system implementation, driving sustainable resolution across systems, data and processes. The position offers high visibility and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to shape future direction and priorities. What will you do? Lead workstreams focused on identifying, investigating, and resolving complex issues arising from system implementations Perform comprehensive deep-dive analysis on data, model, and system-related issues, and drive sustainable remediation solutions Act as Product Owner to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, manage backlog to ensure timely and effective delivery of system fixes and updates Collaborate cross-functionally with Actuarial, Finance and IT teams to ensure alignment on issue resolution and system improvement Provide expert advisory support on finance and actuarial systems (such as Aptitude system), technical interpretation, calculation methodologies and implementation best practices Summarize complex investigation findings into clear, actionable presentations and recommendations for senior management Lead and contribute to strategic ad-hoc projects as transformation programs evolve, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and regulatory requirements What do you need to succeed? Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail for complex problem solving and investigative work Extensive experience with insurance company finance and actuarial systems, including hands-on knowledge of the Aptitude system and its applications Solid familiarity with IT systems, integrations, data flows, and preferably User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in complex implementation or upgrading initiatives Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical results to non-technical audiences Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or a related discipline FSA or close to FSA What鈥檚 in it for you?
