Job Description What is the opportunity? We're looking for a talented, strategic content leader to join our brand marketing team at RBC Global Asset Management. As Senior Manager, Content and Editorial, you'll shape our content marketing strategy from creation through amplification – driving engagement across digital channels while building client loyalty and supporting firm-wide objectives. Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, you'll lead a talented team of content specialists and serve as the guardian of our brand voice, ensuring consistency and impact across every touchpoint. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of financial expertise and creative storytelling - someone who can distill complex investment concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with advisors and investors alike. What will you do? Strategy & Execution Lead content strategies that support marketing initiatives and business priorities Partner with Product, Sales, and Corporate Communications teams to align content with organizational goals Develop innovative approaches to present investment concepts that drive product sales Content Development & Quality Create, edit, and publish articles, brochures, and collateral aligned with key messages Edit, publish and amplify investment team commentary and insights Ensure all content maintains brand consistency in style, quality, and tone of voice Optimize content for search and user experience across all channels (digital, social, email, print, in-person) Apply strong proofreading and editing skills to all marketing communications Analyze content performance metrics and improve digital content effectiveness across all digital marketing channels and campaigns to drive business outcomes. Leadership & Collaboration Manage a team of digital marketing communications experts to deliver timely, insightful content Foster collaboration within the marketing team and across organizational partners Guide team members and partners to maintain brand voice consistency Industry Knowledge Maintain deep understanding of investment solutions and concepts Stay current on asset management industry landscape and content marketing trends What do you need to succeed? Must-have 5-7 years in content creation, marketing, and/or communications within financial services Proven track record delivering high-performing content marketing campaigns Demonstrated success writing about financial and investment topics Experience managing teams and developing high-performing talent B2B and/or B2C marketing experience, ideally in asset management or wealth management Post-secondary degree in digital marketing, marketing, communications, or equivalent Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, MarTech tools, Content Management Systems, and Social Media platforms Knowledge of SEO and AEO best practices Understanding of content workflow tools and process optimization Nice-to-have Professional designations: CSC/IFIC, CFP, or CFA Leve
