Job Description What is the opportunity? Join RBC Capital Markets as a Manager of Futures Client Advisory & Solutions in a client-facing role that sits at the intersection of operations, risk, technology, and trading. You will serve as the primary operational contact for key external clients, managing complex escalations, driving operational excellence, and ensuring seamless coordination across our business lines. This role offers significant impact and visibility without direct people management responsibilities, allowing you to focus on building deep client relationships and solving high-stakes operational challenges. Should you be shortlisted, do please let us know if you have any specific requirements for the interview. This is a full-time permanent position that requires 4 days in the office. What will you do? Serve as the main operational contact for external clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring RBC meets or exceeds service levels. Manage escalations across Operations, Risk, Technology, and Trading functions, diagnosing issues and mobilizing the right resources to resolve them quickly. Provide operational advisory to clients on process improvements, industry best practices, and strategic initiatives that enhance their experience with RBC. Represent clients in escalations to exchanges, handling inquiries related to market access, compliance, and technical issues. Coordinate new initiatives and exchange changes across the client base, ensuring smooth implementation and clear communication of impacts. Manage client communications during incidents, serving as a steady voice that keeps stakeholders informed and aligned during critical events. Support RBC cross-platform business by coordinating execution and support for internal initiatives spanning business lines such as Wealth Management. Respond to client audit requests, manage exchange inquiries, and represent Client Services on both internal and external audit matters, ensuring compliance and transparency. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Proven experience in ETD client operations, capital markets operations, or a similar client-facing operational role, with substantial exposure to UK and European exchanges. Strong knowledge of UK and European regulatory frameworks, exchange requirements (including LME, Euronext, and other major European exchanges), and market infrastructure. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build credibility quickly with senior clients and internal leaders. Experience managing complex escalations involving multiple functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to clients and senior management. Ability to work independently, take ownership of client issues, and see them through to resolution without requiring close supervision.
