Job Description What is the opportunity? RBC InvestEase is a discretionary investment management service that provides professionally managed ETF portfolios and access to high quality advice for clients. As a Portfolio Advisor, you are the primary point of contact for clients seeking personal assistance with their investments, questions and concerns, and as such you will maintain and build client relationships through exceptional client service and trusted investment advice. You will provide investment advice to clients via electronic channels (telephone and email) relating to all elements of the know-your-client (KYC) process including risk tolerance, investment objectives, & time horizon while assisting clients across Canada in achieving their financial goals. What will you do? Educate clients by explaining the features, fees and benefits of RBC InvestEase Manage the administrative client onboarding process (e.g. scheduling client appointments, and dealing with non - responsive clients) Monitor the RBC InvestEase General Inquiries mailbox on a daily basis and respond to clients as necessary Manage the daily trading of InvestEase client portfolios. Generate client communications, market commentaries and engagement resources for a diverse client audience. Participate in Investment Committee meetings by contributing to topics that are related to the RBC InvestEase investment process or portfolios, anticipating client questions regarding recent economic events, macroeconomic trends or financial markets Collaborate with the broader RBC InvestEase & RBC Direct Investing teams (including operations, strategy and product development) to provide client feedback or client insights for the purposes of improving the overall client experience Handle client concerns and/or complaints and escalate in compliance with internal policies and procedures Responsible to identify, manage, and if necessary, escalate the risks and/or control deficiencies What do you need to succeed? Must-have Fluent in French (verbal and written communication) Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 or higher Registration with IIROC or a provincial securities regulator in which you accumulated 2 years’ relevant investment management experience within the last 5 years 2 years’ experience in a client-facing investment advisory/management role Professional oral and written communication and facilitation skills Highly organized with ability to multitask and shift priorities effectively. Positive attitude, enjoys people, and motivated to help others Strong problem resolution and comfortable with ambiguity Nice-to-have Strong MS Excel (VBA), python & programming skills What’s in it for you?
