Job Description What is the opportunity? As the Associate, Network Management, you will be responsible for monitoring agent bank relationships and assessing risk and service quality across our global network. You'll develop key stakeholder relationships, provide insights on markets and agent performance, and contribute to decisions that ensure our agent network operates with clear understanding of risk and trade-offs. This role offers the opportunity to influence how RBC manages and protects its agent network. What will you do? Act as a key point of contact for Network Management in respect of issue oversight, risks and delivering resolution and management on all audit and compliance items. Maintain and monitor relationships with sub-custodians, cash agent banks, and central securities depositories (CSDs). Conduct periodic service reviews and monitor provider performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Support annual due diligence exercises and Continuous Risk Assessments (CRA) to ensure providers meet regulatory and internal risk standards. Ensure appropriate maintenance of Network Management policies/frameworks in line with various governance and compliance requirements. Provide support in conducting analysis and data collation of agent bank related Cost of Income. Partner with Risk & Control team with Network Management related Projects, Regulatory, Compliance and audit requirements. Serve as a BAU contact and service point for RBC Investor Services Network Management Service provision to other RBC entities. Manage general service queries and operational escalations with agents. Support the drafting and publication of market bulletins and newsflashes to keep internal stakeholders and clients informed of market developments. Maintain awareness of global regulatory frameworks and regulatory implications on securities services and assets servicing. Support RFP evaluation where relevant. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Degree of equivalent is required. 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services operations, risk, settlement, or market services (custody, trading support, middle office, etc.) Solid understanding of financial markets, transaction settlement, and asset servicing processes. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with large data sets and identify trends or issues. Proficient time management, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to pivot through working on multiple deliverables with tight deadlines. Autonomous & highly motivated with ability to multi-task productively and work independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation and presentations. Nice-to-have Previous Network Management or custody operations experience. Good knowledge of capital markets, finance, and geopolitical events. Experience working with remote teams in global banks and ability to manage complex matrix structures.
