Job Description: US Tax Administrative Assistant & Tax Audit Support Specialist Position Overview The US Tax Administrative Assistant & Tax Audit Support Specialist provides comprehensive administrative support to the US Tax function while also delivering dedicated coordination and documentation support for federal, state, and local tax audits. This expanded role reflects the increased volume, complexity, and regulatory demands of tax audits resulting from TD鈥檚 continued growth in the United States and the acquisition of Cowen Inc. The position combines traditional administrative assistant responsibilities with specialized audit support activities that are critical to maintaining audit readiness, execution discipline, and well-documented audit processes. The role operates with a high degree of independence, judgment, and accountability, partnering closely with tax professionals, internal stakeholders, and external auditors. Key Responsibilities Departmental Administrative Support Provide high-level administrative and clerical support to the US Tax leadership team, contributing to smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. Manage calendars, meetings, and scheduling for senior leaders, proactively identifying and resolving conflicts. Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including adjustments related to delays or changes, and reschedule meetings as needed. Process expense reports accurately and on a timely basis. Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including asset management, system access coordination, and supply ordering. Coordinate in-office and virtual meetings, town halls, and offsite events, including logistics, agenda support, materials preparation, technology setup, and day-of troubleshooting. Prepare, edit, and format reports, presentations, and other documents using standard office software tools. Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information and communications.
