POSITION: Corporate and Investment Banking Associate – Credit NBFIs Associate will cover non-bank financial institutions and have the opportunity to gain exposure to various sub-sectors, products and client groups as well as work closely with the Investment Banking origination team. Preference given for credit experience with insurance carriers. In this capacity you will: Assist in the preparation of detailed high quality credit submissions for clients in the Financial Institutions sector, which will detail risks and mitigants and include a review of financial performance and key metrics, as part of a team. Research and analyze clients’ financial situations, industry and market data; Construct and sensitize detailed financial models that help evaluate key credit metrics, financial covenants, and sensitivity to key variables; Compile data through due diligence and prepare comprehensive credit reviews that analyze transactions and client risks; Assist with deal negotiations and documentation; and Interact with clients and credit adjudicators.
