Position Responsibilities: Manage and monitor daily operations to ensure satisfactory services are delivered within turnaround time Underwrite large amount and complex application and review suggest cases Be the first port of call to resolve appeals and complaints Ensure underwriting standards as per Audit Guidelines while meeting pricing assumptions of mortality and morbidity Polish and enhance underwriting rules and guidelines to ensure both are reasonable and practical and in line with market practices Keep track of competitors’ practices, provide recommendations and business cases to enable enhancement of existing guidelines Streamline and enhance workflow and processes to ensure operational efficiency Participate in product development and lead implementation from Underwriting Conduct and arrange training to underwriters Lead projects when required Required Qualifications: Degree or equivalent business qualifications LOMA qualification preferred Over 12 years of relevant experience in life underwriting with at least 5 years in supervisory level Excellent underwriting competency Excellent leadership and team building skills Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Strong analytical mind and problem solving skills, with innovation and a customer-care focus PC literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing When you join our team: We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
