Application Deadline: 05/29/2026 Address: 100 King Street West Job Family Group: Audit, Risk & Compliance This role leads end‑to‑end execution of Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) Capital Adequacy Requirements (CAR) compliance programs, including the annual CAR Self‑Assessment Process (SAP) supporting CRO attestation and ongoing CAR compliance issue monitoring and reporting. The incumbent will be a central “run‑the‑engine” leader—coordinating across Lines of Business, Risk, Finance, Model Risk, and Technology—ensuring consistent interpretation, defensible documentation, timely governance approvals, and audit‑ready outputs. The role also supports regulator‑facing initiatives (e.g., OSFI application work requiring CAR self‑assessments and associated artifacts). Key Accountabilities: Leads annual planning, scoping, stakeholder onboarding, and execution of the CAR SAP through assessment, challenge, consolidation, and final packaging for governance and audit timelines. Drives clarity on p aragraph ownership, assignment confirmation, and timely completion across numerous stakeholder groups, escalating risks early and maintaining execution discipline. Supports regulator‑facing SAP requirements where applicable (e.g., OSFI application work requiring a completed self‑assessment against in-scope CAR paragraphs and related implementation notes) Maintains and enhance the Bank’s CAR compliance issue monitoring process (including integrity of the “book of record”), ensuring complete, accurate, and consistent reporting Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies. May network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices. Coordinates quarterly issue updates and approvals with senior stakeholders, including remediation ownership clarity and status governance Recommends business priorities, advises on resource requirements and develops roadmap for strategic execution. Acts as the prime subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders. Defines business requirements for analytics & reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making. Leads change management programs of varying scope and type, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives. Leads working group forums and governance touchpoints; produce clear, decision‑ready materials and status reporting for senior leaders and program stakeholders. Identifies potential risk situations/ impacts and make recommendations or escalates as per decision rights frameworks and guidelines. Assists with the interpretation of new or changing regulations and assessing impacts to the risk programs and governance frameworks; recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
