We are seeking a passionate front-end engineer who loves to code. You’ll have the opportunity to take ideas and build great products with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You’ll focus on customer experience and experience and help our customers make better decisions while shopping. About Team: Focusing on customer, associate and business needs, this team works with Walmart International, which includes more than 5,200 retail units, operating in 23 countries such as Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Mexico and South Africa to name a few. What you’ll do: You are a passionate front-end engineer who loves to code. You love to take ideas and build great products with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Build reusable React components with modular CSS, manage data on the client with Redux, use react query, and GraphQL. Work closely with our product, design, and UX teams to create amazing and intuitive experiences that make it effortless to connect different apps together. Demonstrate technical expertise in solving challenging programming and design problems. What you’ll Bring: 3- 5 years’ experience: deep understanding of React, Node.JS and its core principles. 2 years of experience in object-oriented design and software development. 2 years of experience in building responsive, single page web applications using modern front-end JavaScript technologies like React, Angular, Vue etc. Experience with CSS, Redux, React Query and Graph QL 2 years of experience in creating and/or consuming RESTful web service About Walmart Global Tech Imagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
