Position Summary... What you'll do... We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Software Engineer III. In this role, you will be playing a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions that solve mission critical business problems and support Walmart marketplace growth. You will be utilizing your experience in Java / Python / React, Spring framework, CI/CD to build scalable distributed systems. **Immigration Sponsorship support will NOT be available for this position** What you'll do: Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions. Develop, configure, and maintain high-quality code adhering to coding standards and security policies. Design and implement APIs and platform components supporting iterative and incremental development. Build automation scripts to enhance continuous integration and delivery processes. Execute comprehensive testing, including defect tracking and root cause analysis, to ensure software reliability. Monitor application performance using telemetry and debugging tools, addressing bottlenecks proactively. Collaborate with stakeholders to align development efforts with business objectives and product strategy. Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements. What you'll bring: Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and coding languages such as Java/J2ee. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Experience in requirement analysis, scoping, and translating business needs into technical solutions. Proficiency in debugging, defect management, and root cause analysis to ensure high-quality software delivery. Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and secure software components aligned with business objectives. Familiarity with telemetry, testing tools, and automation to support efficient development and monitoring. Demonstrated capability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
