You will lead the development of scalable platforms that power membership acquisition, retention, and engagement, while ensuring engineering excellence. As an experienced engineer, you will play a key role in defining technical strategy, driving cross-functional collaboration, and delivering customer-centric solutions. This is a high-visibility role with significant opportunities for growth and impact. What you'll do: Responsible for the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of web applications, reusable libraries, and frameworks, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI-powered tools for code generation, automation, and cross-platform development. Raise the bar on best practices, code quality, documentation, testing, monitoring, and feature delivery by integrating AI-assisted coding, code review, and testing workflows into the engineering process. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, sharing AI-driven insights and recommendations for product and process improvements. Champion sustainable engineering by continuously improving best practices, producing best-in-class code, documentation, testing, and monitoring, and adopting AI tools for productivity and quality assurance. Estimate effort, identify risks (including those related to AI adoption), help with prioritization, and devise/meet project schedules. Provide technical guidance to other engineers, especially on AI-powered development workflows, code generation, and cross-platform strategies. Spot broader issues, trends, and implications for the product/team, including the impact of AI and automation on engineering practices and team productivity. What you'll bring: BE/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent. 6-9 years of strong design/development experience overall, with 6 years of web development experience. Deeply ingrained web-first design and responsive coding mindset, with demonstrated experience in building scalable, maintainable, and testable web applications.
