Position Summary... What you'll do... Commercial Refrigeration Technician As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repair within the Walmart facilities Refrigeration equipment team and assets by utilizing commercial and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs. Minimum Qualifications: 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration maintenance Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent General Maintenance & Food Equipment Technician You will make an impact as a maintenance technician by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores! You will be responsible to develop preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned PMs in the timeframe outlined, as well as conduct training for Store Associates regarding care and cleaning of equipment. Food Equipment Serviced Food Equipment : Combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, tortilla makers. Grease and Oil Systems : Oil/water separators, used cooking oil tanks. Minimum Qualifications: 3 years' experience in commercial maintenance ( plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
