Position Summary... What you'll do... Job Responsibilities Promote a safe work environment by ensuring associates use appropriate safety equipment and adhere to safety standards. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas, including ensuring floors are free of debris, equipment is operational and clean, and hazards are promptly removed. Request and coordinate materials, supplies, parts, and repair services as needed to support operations. Manage daily production area operations by planning, scheduling, and assigning work to meet operational goals. Monitor and evaluate operations, programs, processes, and practices to ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. Inspect materials, products, and equipment to identify defects, deficiencies, or malfunctions and ensure timely corrective action. Assist with production sequence planning to meet production targets and deliver superior customer service. Ensure timely identification and resolution of associate performance concerns through coaching and feedback. Complete, review, and analyze departmental reports to track performance and identify improvement opportunities. Lead and sustain a continuous improvement and Lean culture by documenting, implementing, and standardizing new and improved processes. Participate in new hire onboarding and provide ongoing training to support associate development. Provide process improvement guidance related to waste reduction, quality management, and operational effectiveness. Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Support business plans and initiatives aligned with customer and organizational needs by communicating goals and objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability while promoting continuous learning.
