Job Description: What you鈥檒l do Execute manual and automated tests to validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and end-to-end functionality. Support test planning, test case design, and test data preparation based on requirements. Identify, document, and track defects with clear steps and evidence; collaborate with developers and senior QEs through triage and resolution. Maintain test execution logs and provide concise status updates on results, risks, and blockers. Help ensure test environments are ready; document issues and escalate blockers quickly. Leverage AI tools to accelerate test scripting, improve coverage, assist debugging, and optimize execution (with appropriate review and governance). Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning/reviews, retrospectives) and work closely with cross-functional teams. Follow established QE standards, documentation practices, and internal policy/compliance requirements. Must-have Fundamentals of QA/QE, SDLC/STLC, and testing methodologies. BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience 1-3 years of relevant QA/QE experience, strong academic foundation in software testing principles Knowledge on software development and testing practices Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira/ALM/TestRail or similar). Exposure to test automation concepts and basic scripting/coding. Strong communication, attention to detail, and comfort escalating risks/blockers early. Willingness to learn quickly through mentorship, KT, and continuous improvement. Nice-to-have Hands-on exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium /Playwright) or API testing tools. Experience using AI-assisted tools for test design, scripting, or debugging. Basic understanding of CI/CD and running tests in pipelines.
